Hello friends it’s Tim here from Super Mayhem, awoo, and boy howdy do we have some game hacking action for you today!
So in this addition to our game genie hijinx series we are going to take a look at the much loved NES classic Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link! Having not played much of this game myself personally I was pretty excited to dive into this game and see what kind of mischief we could cause with it!
So without further ado, smash that like button, hit subscribe if you are new to the channel and off we go with a few of the most Random and maybe helpful game genie codes for Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link!
I do love a good Jumping code, so let’s start off with AAUOLIAL which is a pretty hilarious code! With this bad boy in place whenever you are in battle or town mode you can hold the jump button and Link will just fly off until you release it! This is pretty funny when you are just cruising along and then all of a sudden you can hold down the jump button and just zoom away like Princess Zelda has called you from her bedroom leir! I did experience a bit of a weird glitch within the second battle sequence though, even though I was flying above the danger, it seems like something hiding in the trees managed to take me down as my health bar started to decrease and I eventually copped it. Oh well, it was fun whilst it lasted!
A lot of this game revolves around gaining experience from enemies that you take down, so I thought the code AAVIIGAE would be handy here! This time for every experience point you get for taking down an enemy you actually gain 2,048 XP! This is pretty insane as after a couple of mobs you pretty much max out all of your hearts, attack and magic power! Plus you get the addition of that sweet musical jingle every after every upgrade. So satisfying!
Up Next we have a bit of a weird one, enter in the code EYUOYZEI and Link will be Blue! It’s kind of like you are in a cave but you aren’t in a cave, and you don’t have a candle. It’s just a palette swap really and it is only visible during battles or towns, not on the map screen. I just thought it was neat so I wanted to include it!

I had to give the code GEIKOI a try as it was labelled simply as “Flood Hyrule”. And well, it delivers! When you enter in this code you basically cannot enter into town because it is underwater! Not really sure what the added benefit of this is as you are pretty much forced to go through the caves and fight the weird worm things, but it is a cool code none the less!
After my rather rude Worm attack I thought I should try the 3 line giant that is GGUTPUSX + NLUTZLGN + KIUTLLYE which is actually super cool! With these codes in place you can just plow through enemies like it is no ones business! Now you can just walk up and touch enemies and they get killed! Unfortunately you don’t get any experience from any enemies, but since you are invincible and just can powerwalk your way through the game, you don’t really need any bonus help!
For this next clip I actually paired up 2 different codes! Firstly I added AASOSEZP which is pretty epic and allows your sword to always shoot it’s beam, no matter what your health status is at, leaving those close quarters battles a thing of the past and secondly the code AEVIUOPP is a huge help because it allows you to open any doors without needing a key! Obviously this makes life much easier as a lot of this game is about exploration and finding keys to access new areas so it is super helpful for those just wanting to move to the next stage of the game! Those damn blobs still got me though! Argh!

If you are tired of always starting the game in front of a sleeping Princess Zelda then you can use some fun warp codes like PASKSU which allows you to start off your journey near the Temple on the Island! Unfortanely for me though this threw me in the deep end and I got myself fireballed and wormed to death and then I ended up stuck in the middle of some mountains which caused the game to lock which stopped me from progressing or doing anything at all…but still, gg game genie! There are a bunch of other warp codes you can check out too which allow you to start in the Swamp, Rauru or even the King’s Tomb!
PASKVU – Allows you to start the game in the swamp.
OASGGU – Allows you to start the game in the town of Rauru.
PAKKXL – Allows you to start the game near the King’s tomb.
And finally I will leave you with the code ASXTGTEL which is super awesome! With this bad boy in place you can literally hit anywhere on the screen just by using your regular attack! You don’t even need full health or anything! Multiple enemies on the screen all cop damage whenever you attack, which pretty much makes you invincible, except to pits or those annoying bubble things that come out of the water. Take that horse man, you are no longer a horse…or a man…or whatever! This is probably the most fun and useful code for the game as you can still get experience, fight mobs and explore the map without having to worry too much about those pesky monsters stopping you on your quest!
Anyway that’s it for today my friends! We didn’t get too much into the magic used in this game or much of the gameplay itself, but it definitely is a bit of a different game of Zelda than the first one! Personally I am a bit more of a fan of exploring and attacking things than talking to people in a market and such, but every game has it’s ups and downs and I would certainly recommend checking out this game if you are a fan of the Zelda series or retro gaming in general! So with all that said if you enjoyed this quick look at game hacks for Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link on the NES then be sure to hit that like button, Subscribe if you are new, make a comment and share this video with your friends! And with that all said I will catch you in the next one my friends, peace out and keep it mayhem!
