Drake – Fortnite Fanatic
Starting with one of the biggest names in music, Drake is a dedicated Fortnite fan. In fact, he’s so passionate about the game that he famously streamed alongside Twitch sensation Ninja! After three hours of gaming together, Drake humorously muttered, “Huh, my very own lonely lodge.” Whatever that means, we know one thing for sure: Drake’s a Fortnite fan through and through.

Post Malone – Call of Duty King
Next up, Post Malone. While touring with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Post revealed to Rolling Stone that he’s a huge Call of Duty enthusiast. So much so that he admitted to staying up until 6 AM playing the latest installment! With skills like that, we bet his headshot count is impressive too.
Grimes – Sims Aficionado
The eclectic artist Grimes has shared her love for The Sims. While an interview confirming this is tricky to track down, Reddit users have drawn comparisons between Grimes’ music and the soothing background tunes of The Sims. Coincidence? Maybe not! Fun fact: Grimes also dated Elon Musk in 2018 — a true pairing of tech and creativity.

Paul McCartney – Tetris Mastermind
Even legendary musicians love their games! Paul McCartney of The Beatles once revealed to Edge Magazine that his go-to game is the classic Tetris. Surprisingly, Paul even contributed to the gaming world in the ’80s when his movie “Give My Regards to Broad Street” inspired a Commodore 64 game of the same name. According to Time Extension, McCartney was actively involved in shaping the game’s music and design. Pretty cool for a music legend!

Dave Grohl – Space Invaders Enthusiast
The iconic Dave Grohl, frontman of the Foo Fighters and former Nirvana drummer, revealed to Metal Hammer that he adored Space Invaders. Grohl reminisced about spending endless hours battling alien invaders in his younger days. His band’s music has even made its way into video games like Guitar Hero 2, where their hit Monkey Wrench rocked players worldwide.
Tyler, The Creator – Gamer Extraordinaire
According to a 2018 article from Highsnobiety, Tyler, The Creator has an impressive gaming resume. His favorites include Mario Kart, GTA V, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4, FIFA, NBA 2K, and Metal Gear Solid. He even joked that Justin Bieber would probably skip charity events to play Xbox instead.

Adding to his gaming credibility, Tyler used Pro Skater 4 as inspiration to learn real-life skateboarding. Later, he became a playable character in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5! As if that wasn’t enough, Tyler is also the voice of a random pedestrian in GTA V. Talk about an unexpected cameo!
