In this addition to our game genie hijinx series we are going to look at the 1993 classic Star Fox, or “Starwing” as you may know it in the PAL regions. This game was super popular and sold over a whopping 4 million copies, not bad! By the way, the reason for the PAL name change was due to a German company being called StarVox which was considered too similar since in German the letter V is usually pronounced as an F. So there is a bit of trivia to start us off!

Why the Turbo version? Well it is quite confusing as to which the original game was as there are like 3 or 4 versions for the SNES and that isn’t including region differences or hacks!
